Great News - during winter 2020/21 we converted six grass pitches into hardstandings pitches, increasing the length and making them usable all year round.

Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Wharfedale Club Campsite is screened from the outside world with stately trees and offering a rich variety of wildlife. Its two fields are divided by dry stone walls, which are very characteristic of this area. There are numerous walking paths from which you can explore the splendid surrounding countryside, and plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby. Situated in this loveliest of National Parks, the site has excellent facilities.

Wharfedale Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of Grassington, one of the most picturesque villages in the Yorkshire Dales. With its charming cobbled main street, comprehensive Information Centre and a good selection of shops selling local specialities, you will find more than enough for a fun family outing. There are also numerous pubs serving some fine Yorkshire Ales and some delicious home-cooked treats to be had. Prior to Christmas, Grassington holds a series of Dickensian Days on Saturdays throughout December, making this North Yorkshire caravan park the perfect destination for a festive holiday break. You can also enjoy a walk into Burnsall village which boasts a beautiful riverside location.

We look forward to welcoming you on site soon.

Top Campsite

Wharfedale Club Campsite
Had a good 4 nights here in late March - found the facilities very good and spotless clean. We were made welcome on arrival by the site staff and gave us directions to walk into Grassington which is over 2 mile away.We ware also made aware of the bus service and used this on several occasions- bus stop at entrance to site - Buses also to Kettlewell and Skipton. A great chilling out site!

Muck for luck? Don’t think so!

Wharfedale Club Campsite
This site is one of the best on the network and has the best team of wardens you would wish for. Hardworking and dedicated to maintaining an immaculate site. We usually book a serviced pitch on sites which we did on our visit at the end of September. The only available serviced pitch was pitch 1 which has large overhanging trees as do other serviced pitches. On returning home I spent a full week cleaning the roof and back of the caravan from bird droppings (big birds) and the resulting staining. We are here again at the moment but on a standard pitch, much better. I prefer to book serviced pitches on sites but on Wharfedale I now prefer not to risk it.

Fab-u-lous

Wharfedale Club Campsite
Had a great stay as usual. The site is perfectly placed for every type of walk you would want - riverside, over the moors or a stroll into town. Facilities excellent and wardens very helpful. There was a glitch with the wifi while we were there and one of the wardens did his best to resolve it and even came to our van to give an update. It was beyond the wardens control and had I really needed to log on I could have taken my machine to the reception area. In fact it was good to ignore the contraption for a while. I am reluctant to recommend the site as I want to ensure I can get a plot when I need it but, putting myself to one-side, it is our go to site for a peaceful break. Will be back again before long.

Simply excellent

Wharfedale Club Campsite
Cannot praise the 4 site wardens enough for their hard work in keeping this site up there amongst the best in the country. Having visited numerous sites this year it’s fair to say that Wharfedale is our favourite. It provides everything we need for a great break but it’s most definitely been enhanced this year with the warden team. Not only do they work tirelessly to keep the large site immaculate but they do so with complete focus on guests. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile.

Return Visit - Couldn't Ask For More

Wharfedale Club Campsite
This is our second visit to Wharfedale Club Campsite, and hopefully it won't be our last! The site is amongst the cleanest and most well kept we have visited. Pitches are really well spaced out and perfectly maintained. All facilities are, quite literally, spotless and the wonderfully friendly and helpful wardens do an incredible job. As mentioned in previous reviews, the dog walk on site is really lovely, and there are some fabulous walks direct from the site, including to Grassington. If you appreciate tranquility, stunning locations all around and wardens who go above and beyond, this is the place for you!
