Tired looking & requiring modernisation

Maragowan Club Campsite
Tired looking campsite requiring modernisation. The toilet block needs a complete revamp. The water draining from the showers is in a communal drain . The doors from some of the cubicles for washing were missing. The hair drier was at the washhand basins for the toilets & where the bins were. Very cramped. Some of the hard standing pitches were flooded. In the washing up area there were 3 sinks only 2 working which was ridiculous as the campsite was full. The campsite was shabby & looked as though it hadn’t been upgrade & modernised for quite some time. Very disappointed especially as the price was £33.90 per night with a £5 per day charge if you wanted WiFi. What a joke. Surely a campsite not up to standard should have a reduced rate. The wardens were very nice & can only do their best under the circumstances. We won’t be back.

Great facilities!

Maragowan Club Campsite
Very conveniently located site by Killin. We had a great couple of days hiking on Ben Lawers and the Tarmachan Ridge nearby, also enjoyed seeing the historic Moirlanich longhouse. Very good facilities on site, the only thing we lacked was somewhere to freeze our coolblocks...Cheers, Linda and Stewart

Great site, great location

Maragowan Club Campsite
A friendly welcome with spacious pitches. The site is clean and well maintained. Plenty of hot water in the shower blocks. Great location near to the village (coop supermarket & plenty of places to eat) and access into the forestry from by the falls or walks near the loch. Also now has the new premier wifi which is great. I will return.

Lovely location for walking, facilities clean but could use upgrade

Maragowan Club Campsite
Beautifull location, lovely walk to Loch Tay just from the campsite. Or to the Falls of Dochart via the old railway path. Also walking distance to the village and shops/restaurants/fish&chips van. Facilities are clean but could use an upgrade. Very friendly welcome.

Beautiful location and area.

Maragowan Club Campsite

Spacious pitches and sufficient services albeit the facilities could use a fresh coat of paint. Hestitant to book initially due to the negative reviews of the facilities but the site is great in every aspect. Agree with earlier reviews that the facilities block is comprehensive, clean and quite functional but could use some paint and floor improvements We really enjoyed staying here and walked to the Killin hotel for an excellent dinner.
