Formality is it compatible with caravanning

On page 11 of the Latest mag there is a photo of caravanners all dressed up in formal attire at a national rally in Ayr.  As I know the committee members in the photo, I do feel sorry that they are obliged to dress up like a dogs dinner to enjoy what in effect is supposed to be a relaxing and laid back hobby.  Camping and Caravanning is a great way to enjoy holidaying,

Im sure that if the formalty and stuffiness were to be dispensed with within the Rallying community, there would be a much better take up of rallying, not just by ordinary CC members, but by those who would come forward as committee members.

Lets move into the 21st century folks and drop the pretence that rallying is stuck in the 1950's
