Doesn't seem to be much conversation about this, is it still going ahead. The 2017 summer is now a distant memory looking forward to planning 2018 usually make the Nationals on the May bank holiday as the starting point of events .... what's going on .... or is it all on faceache now

Hi Windtourer, yes, still going on, in fact booking should open soon (I think it is the end of the month) After last year it is likely to be a bit of a rush as many did not get a place, although I think Sledmere may be a bit bigger. Don't quote me on that though as I haven't heard the numbers yet.

It’s a shame it’s in the east of England again. What about us members that live in the West Country..

At least coming up from the west you don't have to go round the M25 Vivien, long way for us in kent too, but we will make a real break of it and go for longer laughing

For those of us north of the border The English National Rally at Driffield is in the South East. wink

It is all relative, even you K are in the south east of many points further north! Where does the North start, now that's the question? For me in Britain it's anywhere south of a line drawn between Boston and Chester. To others that line will be drawn further north or south depending on where they 'live'.😜

The civilised world stops at Watford Gap. After that it's wild and woad. wink

That rather depends upon one's definition of 'civilised', Cy. I for one, much prefer our version of civilisation, as opposed to what lies directly south of Watford Gap!!kiss

Unless I've missed something, last night it appeared that the national was now booking, but tonight it doesn't?! I don't think I was seeing things!

Ah, I've found it via events and rally searches...
