over the past few years ,i have stood at the washing up area and site offices and listened to countless people saying they are fed up with people booking weekends away then cancelling just becuase the weather isnt to there liking  , and cannot help but thinking the club is missing a trick here ,a way to stop it and also make the club stronger , each member  should have a caravan club bank account and in that account we each deposit a amount of funding  and every time we book a site  a non refundable deposit is paid ,say £10 and when we arrive at the site the account is debited with the balance, this will stop endless cancelations from members and also give the club a chance to make there account stonger  which would then help for more regular updates of club site facilaties , i know this is punishing the genuine ones a little, but you know i dont think the Genuine ones will mind
