Free Night Site Voucher on Renewal

On another forum someone has said that they were on a chat with a member of staff and asked if the club were going to give 3 months extra free membership this year due to sites being closed for 4 months nearly.  The club rep came out with the usual waffle about manning phones/supporting club etc. but did say they are giving a free site voucher on renewal but it seems not to everyone only those who ask for it.

Seems a little underhanded that only those who ask will get a  voucher and not a blanket policy, can someone from the club comment on this please and confirm if you have to ask for a voucher what is the best way of applying.

I've reported your post, MT, to bring it to the staff's attention and asked that someone responds.

.... and I supported the club by staying and renewing when due. So CAMC, you know my address to send me my voucher 👍

Think you would have to leave and rejoin each year as a ‘pretend’ new member to get this . 😬

you’d lose your advanced bookings that way of course.

Not that I think it worth the hassle. However, would you loose your bookings for sites that allow non members? Non members are able to book these sites at £13 a night more. Would you not keep the bookings until you rejoined?

I would imagine you would lose your pre booked pitches as when you rejoin to get a free site night voucher , you are given a brand new membership number .

if you are not joining as a new member , with a new membership number , you wouldn’t get your free site night voucher

its that new membership number that releases your free voucher or grabs onto your pre booked pitches . ( If you are keeping your old membership number) Its either or ...if that makes sense . With a new membership number you aren’t holding on to your pre booked pitches.

its ok of course if you dont have any key dates booked , but for hard to grab ones like edinburgh when the fringe is on or easter at chatsworth ,you have to decide what matters most to you.

we have been on off members for a number of years due to personal circumstances. Each time we rejoined someone who recommended us got a voucher or something, so you can rejoin and gain benefits . But with your new membership, you will lose pre bookings . We didn’t do it to get anything fraudulently...we were on off members due to various bereavements  and serious health issues

Looks like the club has dropped it's voucher offer for new members.

Not sure they have Brue, as I re-joined in February this year and a free night voucher was in my welcome pack!laughing
