Site booking deposits

I hear that the powers that be are looking to start taking booking deposits,any comments

I'm sure that the club will notify its members of any changes to their booking system as and when they occur.  Anything else is pure speculation and, as the topic of deposits has been done to death many times in the past, I'm locking the thread to avoid another round of duplicated comments regarding the pros and cons of such a move.
