M6 Toll Discounts

Not quite sure its the case of the Club losing it but the M6 Toll Company changing the way they do things which would have made it more difficult to facilitate a discount system. It is a shame it's no longer available as it offered a worthwhile saving on the toll. Personally I will still use the Toll route as its a much nicer drive than the old M6!

Was it that the M6 toll is now run by a different company who have done away with discounts?

Going north on the M6 Toll can be a false economy as the upgrading of the M6 starts just north of J12 and end at J16. Along this stretch there is no hard shoulder and no emergency bays so breakdowns lead to frequent hold ups. Using the M6 Toll to go north just gets you to the jam earlier!

I would assume that the use by club members was not sufficient for the toll company my to feel it made commercial sense.
