When the lockdown ends

I know Boris does not like to hear this but the lockdown is being pushed by economics,  I live on the edge of Manchester and can see a marked increase in traffic as more people go back to work. More shops and small buisineses have opened and even the bigger food takeaway chains are talking of opening all of them following strict guidelines.  Many shops etc have been open all along. Even talk of football matches being played.

The club should now be looking at the possibilities of how the sites can be run under strict guidelines.  There is not going to be a magic date when everything returns to normal as there will not be a normal as we used to know but a new normal of which all organisations such as CAMC should be prepared for.  If  any preparations are being made we should know about them and  be given a chance to comment and submit suggestion.  This is not what the club is used to but does what it wants and if it does not listen to its members it will see the membership numbers fall.

JUST LOOK AT THE MEMBERS COMMENTS AND FOR ONE PUT A COMMENT THERE WILL BE MANY WHO WILL THINK WHY BOTHER AND JUST NOT RENEW MEMBERSHIP.

Hi BB, leaving aside the fact you are not greatly hung, I for one have made no comment about what I think should be the consequences of his actions just that, on the basis of what he has written, not someone else, his actions appear indefensible.

It does make me smile to see all the apparent justification, including his ‘not illegal’ comment, as often this will make things worse in the long run.

Its amazing what people can forgive, or at least forget, when someone says sorry.

Lol, i should be greatly hanged for that onewink

i was chatting to a pal while playing golf today and he said his son (a decorator) didnt hang wallpaper these days..

i asked him if they only gave a life sentence but it went over his headwink

i agree, a bit of contrition can help smooth some things over....it might have helped...

"He will have my Email when he gets home surprised,he lives not far from us"

in case you hadnt realised, it pretty much takes the same time for an email to travel to anywhere in the world...even, for example, from London to Durham....having 'not far from us' wont have made a lot of differenceundecided

I agree witn Rufs, the bloke has been a tw*t but folk survive for far worse than driving to their relatives...give him a good b*llocking and move on..

...and the '250 miles' is totally irrelevent....theyd have gone 500 or 5 if that was where their destination was...

Was there a need to add to my quote?undecided

it will not get you any more brownie pointswink possibly?
