I would like to share my idea for keeping the water pipe off the ground when refilling the water barrel. screw the plastic pipe holder to the caravan use silicone on the screw to stop any water ingress.

The "plug" that fits into my caravan to bring in water from the Aquaroll has a clip moulded into it to hold the filter end of the pipe when refill is in progress. Does not everyones'?

I use 2 aqua rolls so i just take the filler hose out of the empty one and put it straight into the full one, then go and fill the empty one ready for next time. Simples.

Back in the days of water bottle filling, now thankfully long gone, we used to place the pipe inside a carrier bag and then rest it on the ground. 👍🏻

We have a Truma pump and ours has a fold out hook that holds the filter end.  Our pump is a couple of years old now, have they stopped putting these on?

Think they must have because ours (on a 2018 van) had no means of keeping the pump off the ground whilst refilling. However, the main reason I changed it was because the Whale Highflow has a much greater output than the Truma and it instantly transformed the shower.

Why take the pump out? Just top up the water with a 5 or 10 litre jerry can or plastic bucket. The excercise will do you good. Either that or pay extra for a service pitch!smile
