Good evening Fellow members ,

As a new member and novice to caravan touring I would like a little help on caravan wheel Security. I have just bought a 2019 6 berth 580qs Knaus Sudwind Silver Edition and I am interested to discuss take advice for fellow members who have the same or similar caravan and can advise me the best option of a wheel security ? and a porch awning pop up inflatable or the older type porch awning.

Kind Regards Ian.

Ian - I can't help because my Knaus is a different model (and has Alko locks as standard) - but there is a "Knaus Caravans Group" on Facebook - only recently formed.  Myself and KnausCol subscribe to it and find it vey useful.  You may well get an answer of there.

Ian, I wasn’t sure if you meant security of a caravan wheel coming off while travelling - use correct torque setting - but perhaps you mean security of the caravan itself for insurance purposes - so have a look at Milenco Wraith or Nemesis Ultra wheel locks.

But for porch awnings I think you can only go to a big dealer and see a wide range of them - but ease of putting them up would be high on my priorities list if I were ever to buy one.
