UK Govt., say we can travel in ENGLAND on the 12th and only stay self catering  accomodation in England.

Welsh Govt., are allowing people to travel to and from Wales on the 12th.

So can I travel and stay in Wales on the 12th in my caravan or do I have to stay at a site in England and travel over border and return to my caravan each day in in England.

The Welsh Government tends to announce these things on a Thursday so you may well know tomorrow.

If they agrees to opening up campsites to tourers from England then you'll be allowed to stay on campsites here in Wales.

We're on a site in Wales at the moment and the owner states that they've taken a full booking for next week, the majority from England but with the provision that the final go ahead is given.

We have sites booked in Wales from the end of this month so am hoping that we can your over there then. Had an email today from a Welsh CL requesting payment for our stay, so they obviously expect that the border to be open by the time we get there. There would be lots of work for them otherwise in repaying all that were coming from England should they could not get there due to a closed border.

I missed his question time session today, but looking at the BBC Wales pages there doesn't appear to be any specific announcements. I spoke to the CL site owner tonight, who in fact didn't want payment before arrival, and he said that it was not unusual for the First Minister to make an announcement until the very last minute!! Not very helpful for those who are intending/hoping to travel from England to Wales on Monday 12th!!

It was stated that all previous announcements made for 12th.April would go ahead as planned so you'll be free to travel.

Just read it on BBC News UK, Wales.

Some anomalies. According to my friend- his daughter who lives in England can visit on Monday, but still only meet outdoors. She cannot stay overnight  or visit as an indoor bubble until May 3. I take it these rules apply to multi self catering properties and Touring vans. A bit confusing!!

Glad you see it the same way as me. The bar room lawyers will no doubt debate it adinfenitum
