Hopefully we will be starting caravan holidays soon and I wondered if anyone can recommend a grill/ griddle for use on electric. If it has removable plates or easy to clean, that is a bonus.

we use an electric multi cooker which is just a large round pan with a lid and yes it can be used in a number of ways, bacon and eggs, stir fries and steak (though not at the same time). It is I have been told easy to clean. Our was from Curry's but there are simpler ones from local caravan dealers.

Ours does use 1500W so turn the electric heating off, or go on gas, when using it.

We have something like this.......

but ours was from Lidl and was only £20

you also get ones that have their own legs so do not need to sit on a table

We've used the Kampa version for years, now.  However, I've noticed that they seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment. I've also tried a couple of other brands but the non-stick doesn't seem to last as well as the Kampa ones. Ideal for that Sunday morning breakfast!

Ditto, fold away legs, sits nicely on a table so you can use outside, in the awning, or in the van, big enough to cook english breakfast for 4 with ease, easy to clean, has a nice little pull out tray to catch the excess fat, no idea how much power it pulls but never had a problem, and we still have the original box which we use for storage. Keep it simple is our motto, our most complicated piece of cooking equipment is a Remoska laughing

We have a small George Foreman grill, something like this Argos LINK it's useful for quick grilling and toasted sandwiches, it's got a drip tray. We don't often take it away as intended but it gets used at home. It's very easy to clean with damp kitchen roll, nothing so far has ever stuck to it.

We tend to travel light and this doesn't take up too much storage room or weight.
