Disco 4 Dashcam

Hi everyone, My Discovery has a front heated windscreen, I recently bought a dashcam but when fitted to the front windscreen the heated screen prevented the dashcam from picking up a GPS signal. the company gave me a stronger antenna for the dashcam and advised me to move it around the windscreen, in particular towards the edge of the screen , although it did improve the reception the solution was nowhere ideal and it still kept dropping a signal. Luckily I returned the unit and got a full refund.

Before I purchase another make of Dashcam has anyone encountered this problem and can you recommend a make of Dashcam which you have used in a disco which works, any help would be appreciated.
