Using my works van

Hi all

Sorry if this isn’t a new topic. I have been thinking of having a towbar put on my works van as I have personal use on it. This would allow us to have a smaller day to day use car and the van won’t struggle in anyway.

Are there any club rules against using a van? It’s just plain coloured with no sign writing on it?

i look forward to hearing from you.

Mart

There shouldn't be any problem at all using your work van on club sites, whether liveried or not.  It used to be the case that liveried vehicles weren't permitted but, as families had to make use of their one vehicle, this ban was abolished many years ago.

Hope this helps.

I think one or two affiliated sites may take a different view but that’s a small issue.

Occasionally, on club sites you may be asked to park in the car park if pitch size is limited but quite a few people use vans these days and I’d go for it in your shoes๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

There is not on club sites normally a problem with works vans sign written or not as tow vehicles on cc sites ,if worried rain the site you are going to for clarification,

Ps there  may be a problem if the work van is 5 tonner or that typeundecided
