I keep looking at this section and notice how popular it obviously is ..... last post about 4 months ago. Time for deletion maybe & that will be a step towards tidying the rest of the forum up a bit

A  bit  unkind  there  perhaps !  Maybe  the  Trailer  Tenters  only  add  something  when  they  have  something  meaningful  to  add,  !Frown

Four months ago was October/November time which is realistically probably the end of the touring season for most trailer tents and folding campers, I'm sure they will be back when they start venturing out again.

I agree with you MM.

I also wonder why trailer tents are part of the CC......they aren't either caravans of motorhomes.....they are tents.

The Caravan Club is the name, but it's recognised rightly that Motorhomes are welcome, why not Trailer Tents?

I believe the criteria is/was that the canvas structure must be on wheels to be recognised by CC and allowed on sites. As we know, things are starting to change with more tent pitches being created.

I would not like to see this section Deleted User from the forum. It refers to holidaying on campsites.

Mind you there are at least 9 other sections which wouldn't bother me if they were scrapped, as they have nothing to do with our hobby or the Caravan Club.

Wink

I think you need to be more specific K. If you are refering to the social room, I do not see how you can say they are all nothing to do with caravaning. Many caravan to persue their  hobbies, observe / photograph wildlife etc. So they are every bit as related as what battery to buy, or site to visit.
