I would not like to see this section Deleted User from the forum. It refers to holidaying on campsites. 

Mind you there are at least 9 other sections which wouldn't bother me if they were scrapped, as they have nothing to do with our hobby or the Caravan Club.

The Caravan Club is the name, but it's recognised rightly that Motorhomes are welcome, why not Trailer Tents? 

Don't forget that the original caravan folk lived in tents!

As trailer tents are accepted units on all Club campsites and with an increasing number of sites accepting tents why should owners of these unit not have their own space on Club Together?  Even if its not so widely used it does no harm by being here, no one has to look or even think about it if it is of no interest. If I were a trailer tenter I think I would be somewhat dispirited by this thread and start to wonder how welcome I am in the Caravan Club?

It  does  seem,  David,  that  some  folks  want  this  to  be  an  Exclusive  Club,  whereas  I  would  much  prefer  it  to  be  Inclusive.

I started with a tent, then a trailer tent and joined this club (family were always members), then a folding caravan and then moved on to a 'proper' caravan as I got older and had a bit more cash. Going to club sites influenced my decisions, as did the club mag. This is just as important and releveant as any other part, to those that want it.

I predict as caravans get heavier and cars get lighter this section will get busier.

Anyway, I just don't read the bits I don't want to read.

It was a comment more to do with the ridiculous number of sections on the forum highlighted by the lack of posts on this section.
