From now until November, we'll be alternating between caravanning and camping by staying on our seasonal pitch for the caravan for the permitted 21 nights and then using our tent to camp on a CS for two nights before returning to our seasonal pitch. The last time we used our tent was between March and June last year whilst we were awaiting delivery of our new caravan. Since then the tent has been redundant. Now, we have an opportunity to use it again.
So I think camping in a tent is a relevant topic of discussion for me. It will make a nice change!

We bought our Vango 4 berth inflatable tent from Attwoolls in Gloucester in March 2015 brand new for £500. A very affordable price for most people compared to paying £28,000 for a new caravan, which is a much heavier drain on the finances!
It's also very easy to erect. You just peg the built in groundsheet down and pump it up with it's hand pump. No poles, so light and easy to carry.

I don't think that there should be a section for trailer tents because they shouldn't allow trailer tents on Caravan Club sites.......because they aren't caravans (or motorhomes, which are a bit like caravans ).
Write your comments here...Yes but if Caravan Club sites like Brighton have a designated area for tent campers, surely that would cater for trailer tents as well, Ian, wouldn't it?
