CL Sites Late Availability in 2019

We like dogs and I'm sure that readers will understand that this rule is intended to make our CL safer .

in the days before we imposed a 2-dog limit, the record here was 12 dogs in a single caravan - all perfectly behaved. 
They were en route to a dog show and included a litter of puppies that the owner could not leave at home.

Great idea but sad to see very little posting happening from CL site owners. 

Newton Grove has availability from today and during MAY (excluding Sat & Sun early Bank Holiday) if you would like to stay.

You can now check availability and book on-line and you may even have the whole site to yourself mid week! from £7 per night for longer stays rising to £ 10.50 for just one night - includes 2 occupants, awning & pets, well behaved dogs welcome with no set times for arrival or departures.

We are on the edge of the beautiful village of South Newington in North Oxfordshire (North Cotswolds) surrounded by open countryside. Just off the A361 halfway between the market towns of Chipping Norton and Banbury or 25 minutes from the M40. The site is ideal for trips into Warwickshire (5 miles), South Northamptonshire (6 miles), Gloucestershire (10 Miles) & Buckinghamshire (12 miles), Mileage "as the crow flies"

Our CL is a private, secluded site surrounded by mature native trees, shrubs and hedges on all sides. The site including the wooded areas extends to 1.8 acres of which the maintained grassed pitching area is 0.8 acres, this allows spacious non-designated grass pitches together with 2 hardstanding areas. Our  site is a “Off Grid” site (non EHU). For “non EHU virgins “there is free use of a 160w Solar Battery Charging Unit with 5a 240v outlets for things like charging tooth brushes, phones, computers etc, or a 80w freestanding solar panel. So gain your freedom and give us a try!

Here at Hallsdown Farm CL due to a cancellation we have space available for the Early May bank holiday.

We are an adults only site and we are unable to accommodate dogs.

Set in the North Devon countryside just outside Exmoor National Park and we are six miles from the coast.

Walking distance to Arlington Court National Trust property and a short stroll from Wistlandpound Reservoir.

Goatfell Farm is located in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, on the border of the Peak District National Park between the historic market towns of Leek and Ashbourne.

The site boasts stunning views and is ideally placed to explore both Staffordshire and the Peak District with many local attractions, miles of stunning cycle trails, fantastic walking country and a wealth of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets!

Leek is a 5 minute drive away and hosts a Wednesday and Saturday market, and Ashbourne , Bakewell, Buxton and Uttoxeter are all within easy travelling distance.

Locally, attractions include the Manifold Cycle and Walking Trail, the Churnet Valley steam railway and the wild and rugged Roaches.

Lots to see and do in the area. Visit the GWSR Steam railway only 5 minutes drive from us.  Sudeley Castle and Hailes Abbey also close by. Take a trip to the Spa town of Cheltenham or perhaps the quintessential cotswold village of Broadway whilst en route to Snowshill ( where they filmed Bridget Jones) and the National Trust property of Snowshill Manor. Don't miss Broadway Tower and the war bunker.

If you prefer walking we are just off the Cotswold Way and adjoin the Winchcombe Way.  Both are beautiful routes and there are many circular walks to enjoy .

Of course, you can just sit and relax outside your van watching the steam train int the distance trundle by  or the lambs frolicking in the sunshine.  The choice is yours and we are here to help you enjoy every moment of your break.
