Hello fellow Motorhomers and Caravaners,

Its taken 12 months to build, but l can finally announce we are open and extend a warm welcome to fellow Motorhomers who wish to visit central Algarve Portugal.

We are a 20 pitch site built by Motorhomers for fellow Motorhomers to enjoy a stay in the sun. We are set up like a typical UK CL with all the mod-cons for easy touring. Good security - cctv & fully fenced. Central location to explore the area of Vilamoura & Quarteira by bicycle or walk. We extend a warm welcome to fellow motorhomers from around the UK to pop in and say Hello, as its always lovely to meet fellow motorhomers on their travels and hear what they're up to.

We are open 365 days per year and are set up for long Winter Stays in the sun for you to enjoy.

Looking forward to meeting up with you all on the road...

many thanks,

Anthea

on our recent Iberian trip we used park4night app (website also available) which lists suitable overnighting spots, from full blown campsites right down to free parking areas.

whilst not for everyone, we had several lovely overnight seaside town locations, usually with the company of at least one other van and always felt safe.

a great resource...also useful for parking in the uk too...

If you went to the Motorhome National you may have seen the very interesting but all too brief presentation about touring the world in your own motorhome. While the focus was on far away places, e.g. the USA, John and Sue Hughes's web site not only contains lots of information about these trips but also on ones taken closer to home.

If you enjoy walking, hiking or cycling, a great free on line map here for the whole of Switzerland: https://map.wanderland.ch  Very easy to use, you can view maps as detailed as the OS in the UK.  Also as a free App "Switzerland Mobility" in the App stores: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/switzerlandmobility/id527194959?mt=8 and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.schweizmobil&hl=en
