Overnight sites near Zaragoza, Spain.

I believe the site was very good at one time, then it went a bit down hill for a period. Happy to say we stayed at it end of Sept 2015 and found it to be perfectly acceptable. Hard packed gravel/sand pitches, little to no shade for most pitches. The showers and toilets were fine plenty of hot water and both were nice and clean, they are not heated in winter I believe so may be a little chilly. 

Its a perfect overnight stop when crossing Spain, usually busy with everyone doing the same, some coming some going.  Its got supermarket close by if you need one. Its not cheap by municipal standards at 29€ a night if you want EHU but in winter there isn't much else in the area I believe. 

In Spring 2015 we decided to push on further and stayed at another  site  Acsi discount 2876 at Lake Caspe its a bit off the main road but if you wanted a few days its IMO better than Zaragoza and only 17€ a night.

We stayed here in sept 2016 for a night.There is no probs with the site,easy bus into the centre or a short walk up the hill to a local centre with shops restaurants etc.Easy access off the ring road.

I stayed there a few weeks back, showers are heated but the toilets were a little chilly. Not a spectacular but acceptable. Cheaper if you book through one of the clubs. Quite a few units on site, mostly Itallian. Easy access with our twin axle and pitches where I didn't need to un-couple. OK for a stopover but I wouldn't stay for more than a couple of days. A very cold area in the winter, electric hook up is expensive so better to use gas.

like the other posters, we have used the site in the past, as its really the only choice especially in wintertime.

however, i'll be 'going over' next week, driving down through France on the western route and am seriously contemplating going from Irun to Benicassim in one day, and so missing out on a stop at Zaragoza.

i reckon its only around 6.5 hrs on the tolls...which cost around €25 going via the N-121A, so cost neutral and we get an extra day in the warm rather than in the cold....

i dont normally drive 400m on a day but its almost all motorway and there are convenient aires to chop the trip into 3 easy 2hr (ish) stints....

We have used this site a number of times and found it perfectly satisfactory.  There are one or two permanent pitches, a bit run down in parts, but perfectly ok for an overnight or a couple of nights if you want to visit.  Not a site for a holiday though, which is perhaps why trip advisor is not favourable.

If you do have the time to linger Zaragoza is a lovely city, well worth a visit, particularly in the run up to Christmas when the Christmas lights and market are on.  Also worth a visit, a little further afield but an easy day trip, is Belchite, a ruined village left as a memorial to the Spanish Civil War.

We stayed for one night in the summer arriving at 1130pm and leaving at 10am the next day, it was tricky to find but maybe that was just us not having our sat navy working properly. However the site was fine for a stopover with hot shower and clean facilities. A good stopover

We have used this site several times as we crossed Spain. it is not sparkling but adequate. Electricity and water are available on each pitch. About 1Km further up the main road towards Zaragoza centre there is a big hypermarket with fuel.

Camping Municipal de Zaragoza - Any Summer 2017 reviews please.

Hi All Caravan and motorhomers....

Does anyone have any update on what this campsite is like now in the summer of 2017, is it safe/clean for family 2+2 etc...
