Has anyone used the N623 (off the A8) and N232 to Haro to join the AP68. Is it a good road for towing.

Nope-always used the motorway-straight road and very easy towing!

The N623 will take you into Burgos, which is rather a long way round to get to Haro.   It would be much quicker to take the motorway from Santander to Bilbao then cough up the 12 or so Euros up the A68.   I've driven part of the way from Burgos towards Santander on the N623, but that was just by solo car.   On the other hand, I've towed my caravan from Santander to Burgos, first on the A67 then on the N627, and that's OK for towing.

Thanks for the replies.  I'll stick to the motorway A8 and AP68.
