Just wondered if supermarkets in such as France, Spain, Germany etc offered a delivery service, or (probably more relevant for caravanners) the equivalent of click’n’collect services?

We enjoy the outdoor living,  cooking and catering for ourselves and the superior quality of ingredients makes all the difference to the end result especially when washed down with a decent bottle of wine. Each to thier own but that's a large part of the joy of caravanning for us.

Quite agree, the feel good factor is the same and each of us have differing ways in achieving that, so no right way nor wrong way just different ways.

We shop here in Eygalieres - unless of course it's Friday when the market rolls into the village. Both are enjoyable.

I always thought you were a civilized sort of chap Eurotraveller! We shop there too - their Anchoiade is to die for!
