Adult only sites & number of dogs

Hello all

I am a new member and was wondering if there is any way to filter for adult only sites?  Or if anyone can recommend a adult only site in Cumbria I would appreciate it. Also I can not find any restrictions of how may dogs are allowed on sites.  Only that dogs are allowed on all sites.  I have three and some sites that are not club sites will state that 2 is max.  Would hate to book only to be told that having three might be a problem.

Thanks

As far as I'm aware there are no adult only Club sites, certainly have never come across any.  Although in practice, many of them seem to have very few children around, most of the time.

Also as far as I'm aware there is no stated limit on the number of dogs allowed, so your three should be fine.  Just follow the normal courtesies (on leads, kept quiet and picked up after).

There are no adult only club sites, there are a number of AO CL which you can search for by using the adult only filter button. Use UK holidays>search and book>CL.

There is no current restriction on the number of dogs on a club site, and there is no cost for a dog (or cat or anything).

You can filter by the dogs welcome button on the CL search. However I would ring the CL and ask them about numbers allowed. CL can set their own prices so I'm not sure if they charge for dogs. I'm sure someone will post to clarify that.

Welcome to the club

Hi, 181. The Club directly run sites have no restrictions on the number of dogs allowed per pitch and the Club does not have any adult only sites.

There are some affiliated sites where rules and conditions might differ and, of course, the rules on CLs are decided by the site owners.

Try Tranquil Parks for some decent adult only sites.

This could be a very useful new thread.......why don't the CC have AO sites, because that would be a very welcome addition?

Might even tempt me to pay the premium price for average sites.

Although I would not be interested in either Adults Only or pet Free CC sites , there may be others who would jump at the chance to use such sites.

Perhaps the CC may be considering trying an experiment on a few of their sites to test if there is indeed a demand .

Customer choice is a good selling point for any forward looking multi-million pound company.

Cheers ...............K

Surely the answer is that you need to take it up on an individual site basis. If you find a site that you think will suit then surely just a simple phone call or e-mail will get you the information you need before you book. I somehow doubt that even a comprehensive review site like UKCampsites would drill down into the detail that precisely for every site. I contribute quite a lot of reviews to UKCampsites but as a non dog owner I rarely comment on the status of dogs unless they are not allowed in the first place and even that is fairly rare and mainly lakeside sites in Europe. I am sure people are happy to suggest sites that might be suitable but the detail you want may only be available direct from the site. At least you know the situation on Club sites, but of course, no adult only sites except the odd AS one.
