We are considering a South Coast trip in early September and fancy a few days on the IoW. Undecided between club site or CL as some cl’s state they can provide ferry discounts like the club site. Main reason for trip would be Osborne House and other EH sites. Any advice/suggestions happily received especially if they save money ( being true Yorkshire folk)

Alverstone ponds a fantastic CL fully serviced pitches small shower block and free WiFi, they also arrange ferry travel.

Hello Hugh , If you are Not of a certain age a bus rover ticket for a week or more is a must . It's great fun just hopping on and off at your leisure at different little hamlets /villages. Last time we were there we took the bus from one side of Cowes to Newport and back to other side of Cowes ,just 'cause we could .😀😀 .

Thank you for the info, I think we are leaning towards a CL on a bus route which does the RF discount. Any more tips greatly appreciated

Then Alverstone ponds wouldn’t be a good choice. The bus service in Alverstone is almost non existent.
