We have just been to Warwick Racecourse and the walk into the town was only 5 minutes from the site, due to the wife's mobility issues we are looking for similar sites within approx 100 miles of Leicester, the walk to the town/shops must be very short, no more than say 1/2 a mile and we cannot use public transport, can anyone suggest sites please?  Many thanks

I am new to this discussion thing, how do I find "MY previous posts/discussions" please there must be a way I only found this one again after looking down the list of recent activity.

My OH has a scooter but we are always worried if its driven a mile or so to the town and then used around the town for a few hours the battery wont get us back to the site

Small towns in the Cotswolds are easy enough. Broadway and Morton in Marsh from Club sites, Burford from independent Wysdom Touring Park and Lechlade from independent Bridge House.

If your wife's scooter is small enough to carry in the M/H then why not travel into town with the M/H, park in a disabled slot (presumption being that you have a blue disc) and the scooters range is then largely irrelevant.  Of course I am ignorant of the rules re the Blue Disc and don't know whether or not it is vehicle specific.

Good luck in  your searches.
