Easter hols and prices on or off

No one is touring at the moment and the government have said go home and essential journeys only.  No home to go to so the club IMO has done the right thing by these folks

Joe and maria, so glad that the government and the C&MC have agreed to allow full timers somewhere to stay put for the coming weeks.

I know its controversial but lets face it we are in uncharted waters here and everyone even the homeless on the streets are being found somewhere to rest their heads over the coming weeks. 

This arrangement is far better than to have outfits roaming around the country looking for somewhere to stop and carrying the virus with them.

Did you read my link, Scoutman? What would you rather the club had done, evicted people and let them roam the highways interspersed with wild camping? What happened to goodwill and we're all in it together😤

as per another thread there are still a handful on Burrs. I know that one of them live full time in his motorhome so can only guess that the others do too

Yes we all stay 20 nights and 1 off or 21 nights on and two off , if those working or full timers go on different site then return for whatever reason they are allowed to book again for a further 20 or 21 nights , so they can tour u k if they sonwish staying 20 /21 nights on there chosen site /area ,

those on here happened to be on site when the lock down happened most full timers some stuck for a few mths , so still came under the government decision to be allowed to stay 

There appears to be an element of confusion entering this thread which was about costs not duration of stays. As I understand it, such pitches that are being made available are on a "own facilities" basis and therefore an argument could be made for the fees to reflect this and being set at the level for CAMC 'no facility' sites.

It’s at times like this that we will see how customer friendly the Club is , and weather they want exploit the bank holiday prices , we are supposed to be a Club ,so now is the time for the Club to standup  

Yes correct , but the above post was in reply to some one who was adamant that it was impossible to  be full timers on CANC ,just needed to explain that his impossible is possible

it was an off the cuff remark a full timer made regarding Easter prises , off course if the club do decide to charge full prises in theory they have us over a barrel, it was an innocent remark that got me thinking and what would others think should they or shouldn’t they 

A fair compromise to me would be to treat and price them as seasonal pitches, which in affect they currently are, with an appropriate reduction for no facilities. The sites are closed until the end of June at the earliest, so the initial contract could be until then. A 3 month let.
