Finding a Digital TV signal

I recently discovered an app for my Android smart phone that takes all the guesswork out of doing this.

Search for FreePoint UK to get the app.  You can either search by postcode or pick from the CC site list.  the information can either be displayed in the form of a Google Sat Image map or simply as a table.

Each site's info gives you the bearing and alignment (vertical or Horizontal) and will offer 3 choices of transmitter ranked on signal strength.

Used in conjunction with a compass app I have found this invaluable in recent months.
