Leaf blowing

We watched a warden wandering around the site this morning with her petrol leaf blower. There wasn't a leaf in sight, there's barely a leaf on any tree. The only things she blew were a few bits of stray gravel & a puddle. What a complete waste of time, effort & resources. No wonder the toilet block had to be shut at 10 to make time for such important tasks.

Regardless of who wants a shower or when they want it, isn't it a bit of a waste of money to be blowing non-existent leaves around?  It's usually quite noisy too, especially if you're trying to relax on site.  Does nobody use a brush and shovel these days?

Personally I think the leaf blowing to be a complete waste of time, which could have been better spent cleaning the shower block, say at 09.30.smile

Indeed ..... I could've had my shower at 10 when I'd wanted to. 😉

Certainly would be a waste of time leaf blowing here in East Lancs, it's been blowing a gale all week 😱.

Leaf blowing - surely really only needed in the autumn so they can be blown into one place and gathered together. I’ve never understood why the wash blocks need cleaning in a morning. Surely they’re less busy in the afternoon?

I appreciate there are arrivals then but with the number of wardens on some sites it shouldn’t make a difference. But then, why do wardens need to clean the loos?  I’ve said this before to use local labour for cleaning and reduce the number of wardens on site. Would certainly help the local economy at sites.
