Just heard the very sad news that Bob Willis has died, aged 70. Who can forget his contribution to England winning the Ashes in dramatic fashion.

RIP Bob, you were one of my heroes.

a Great, tall, lanky bean pole of a fast bowler who, sadly, suffered more than his fair share of niggling injuries which stopped him fully displaying his great talent.  Never the less " Dylan " did himself & his country proud.

R.I.P. Mr Willis Sir

Ask any crikkit fan where they were when they heard the "Botham dislodging the bails" fiasco on the radio (Aggers and Johners) and in the same breath they'll remind you of that remarkable day in 1981 at Headingley.

Thank you for the memories Bob.

RIP.
