Just read that John McCririck has passed away aged 79 years.

Sad Day, Jill. He was amongst the last of the real eccentrics to hold a job on T.V. His wife, jenny, aka The Booby, tolerated his quips with a gentle smile. Right now he's probably running a book on The 9:45 Angel Stakes
