Broadening our TV watching...

Given all the reality drivel and neverending soaps that seem to fill our TV screens most of the time, does anyone else watch some of the foreign crime dramas that crop up occasionally on our screens? BBC4 mainly, although some have become so popular that they graduate onto BBC2 as well. We like Wallander, but our all time favourite is Inspector Montalbano. everything about this, the locations (Sicily), the characters, the stories, even the music is very good. A real insight into another culture. We have even managed to purchase the books by Andrea Camelleri, translated into english. We don't watch much TV, but this is well worth trying for something different. Ciao!
