Saw a trailer this evening for a new programme starting on Channel 5 next Friday evening, 13th July, where five celebrities go caravanning.  I assume it’s in the same vein as as the series shown a while ago where five celebrities went motorhoming.  Sorry, I didn’t catch who the celebrities are, but will have a look at it out of interest.  I found the motorhoming series on Channel 5 catch up recently, having only caught part of one programme previously, and quite enjoyed it.

What? A "celebrity" programme without Anne Widdecombe, Wayne Sleep, Lesley Joseph or Christopher Biggin? What ever were they thinking? laughing

Lesley Joseph was on the motorhoming one.  She actually did rather well doing the driving, apart from one minor loss of a bit of trim following a close encounter with a tree.

There was a similar series about five celebrities on canal boats in France.

Based on watching the other series, I don’t think caravanners will be portrayed as a bunch of eccentrics, as with most others that have been on the telly.

Sorry, but I can't stand so called 'celebrities' who are trying to get their faces on TV only to boost their failing popularity, I am 'out' on this one.

If the programme is anything like the one the chairman did , it will put off people for good. Jeremy Clarkson may have some joy out of it.

Apart from TB no idea who the others are.  TB did say on sounds of the sixties that he was going canning but didn’t mention the programme.

Excellent light entertainment laughing the sort of telly where you could go make a cuppa and get right back into it. Perhaps there will be more decent programmes like this now that the silly boys kicking a ball about has all but finished.innocent
