I've been enjoying this series on BBC 2, last night's Mississippi was great viewing from start to finish. Hearing those baby alligators was probably better done from a seat at home rather than too close to the mother alligator!

In amongst the not so interesting there have been some good programmes recently.

Don't watch a lot of tv but caught part of the programme on the Amazon. The wildlife is astounding and it's hard to grasp the enormity of the area. Loved the whiskered river dolphins.
