It was in response to JVB mentioning the John Lewis and Waitrose Christmas Advert which is usually much anticipated by many members of the public and the press. Great fun but lightweight and probably by Christmas we will all be fed up with it. On the other hand it might be the one thing that makes having a General Election two weeks before Christmas palatable? See here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9D-uvKih_k

….  despoil Rick's and Ilsa’s last moments  with the new Clubcard advert. My favourite film hi-jacked and cheapened. Outraged I am.

(On the other hand, maybe, as time goes by, it will inspire a new generation of “Casablanca” fans.)

John Lewis/Waitrose advert is nice again this year

I like the LNER advert as we can see our house as the train passes over Welwyn/Digswell Viaduct, ,it remind us what it looks like so we wil know it "when?we eventually get home
