Is it me, but can't help thinking that comedy programmes on TV are just not up to the standards of earlier decades. Got me thinking about which would be my all time favourites. So.......
1. Dad's Army, fantastic, gentle humour
2. Fawlty Towers, waspish mickey taking.
3. Blackadder, (all four series) satire and wit
Some of the episodes of FT take some watching now, definately not pc, but oh so funny.
OH and I can spend hours quoting bits to each other, along with lines from Monty Python films.
Anyone prefer something different or more modern?
