Roddy Doyle - The Guts

Roddy Doyle has just had a new book published. It is a continuation of his earlier Barrytown Trilogy (The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van). I've just been re-reading them and I'd forgotten how brilliant they are! True, the language is not for the faint hearted but they're a brilliant and hilarious portrayal of Dublin family life at that time. Mrs M has banished me to another room because I'm giggling so much. I can't wait to get hold of the new book. Anyone else fans of Mr Doyle?
