Went to see this film earlier this week.   What a lovely film.   It focuses on Laurel and Hardy's relationship later in their career (1950's) when they toured the UK.     Both John C Reilly and Steve Coogan play great parts and have obviously studied the characters in great detail prior to filming.   I must admit that I'm not a fan of Steve Coogan or his alter ego Alan Partridge but he managed to carry off Stan Laurel.

I do recommend this film, if only for some of the routines, as they are so good, but you will have their song 'On the trail of the lonesome pine' stuck in your head for ages following the film.
