Just caught up with this BB2 drama about Jewish children rescued from concentration camps in Germany at the end of the war. Over 700 came to the UK and the drama is about a group of them who were billeted in the Lake District. Obviously all of them are very damaged by their experiences but worst of all for them is that initially they don't know whether relatives are dead or alive but do eventually find out in most case. It's not an easy watch but nonetheless interesting. A nice touch at the end is that they interview some of the survivors that stayed and made their homes in the UK.
