Ok. But in my OP I did write about drama series.

You also wrote about a quiz programme and I for one had no idea that you were looking for personal recommendations whether for drama or not.

I thought it to be a general moan about nowt on TV.

I think you have said you don't watch TV? But if you can recommend anything, that would be good.

No I don't watch TV but did suggest a TV series that OH watches. smile

Yes you did. And I noted it, especially as you said it's based in NZ. Just wondered if you personally had anything to suggest.

People have encouraged me to persevere with Endeavour. I tried again on Sunday... and again gave up.

I am coming to the conclusion that I just cannot concentrate atm.

The latest things that I have watched on TV were a cartoon Christmas 2017 and the first Iron Man film sometime last year. I have never been a big fan of TV and rarely watched for the last 50 years. I did start watching TV about 22 years ago when I was suffering with depression over a period of 9 months - don't think it helped spending time sat in a chair. So really no first hand knowledge but I did find Jack Hargreaves series of gone fishing and out of town interesting years ago.

Liking EG's novels,  I watched that at the time it was first shown and have since bought the DVD of the series. Good cast and good acting.

It seems as if all the stuff I enjoy is "previous"....

OH has now caught up with Endeavour and says I should watch.

Re Gone Fishing: I do like BM and PW - is it more of a comedy than a factual prgramme????

Both, they exchange quips, experiences of both their lives & health. A smattering of fishing too๐Ÿ˜Š. It’s like a couple of friends sat on a river bank chewing the fat. . .Which is what they are๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
