I Remember When

I remember my mother taking her test on an Electric Milk Float. This covered her to drive a motor vehicle 🚗 

The Milk Float only did about 10mph

{ And about three (3) miles per gallon of Gold Top   }

And I remember when an 'air cut did not leave A B M shivering for days on end  

Long hair in the late 60s & 70s ,a new fashion statement !! ..

And those awful 'brush cuts' costing as much as a 'short back and sides' although taking about a third of the time 

I remember when Policemen had whistles. 

I remember when the month of May was fairly warm 

I remember when there were gas mantles in the caravan.
