I Remember When

I Remember when I came on F & T and posting only after I had looked up which thread I was on  

Mum leaving yoghurt pots out for our milkman to put over our milk bottles tops to stop the birds from pecking holes in the shiny foil tops 😀

 Oh Blimey, Jo J,  you must be verrrrry  young !! 

I only remember the bottles having card tops --  very useful for kids to make woollen pompoms  

I remember collecting the cardboard ones, but don't remember why.

Depends what you call ‘young’ 😆

I remember the end celebrations of WW2  

When no one had a Mobile Phone

When some cars only had a small engine & poor brakes  (E93/100 etc )

When building sites had Lime Ponds

And Building Sites had no  "Elfin Safety " No hard hats ,No toeteckter boots,no goggles or gloves etc etc !!  .
