I’ve never been to this show going to book for sept this year. Any tips on what to do or look for also should go in general area or book with club ?

I've only been as a day visitor, it's a very big show and they're geared up to taking overnight visitors. Is the club advance offer better than the show offer? When you're there you'll see plenty of food stalls but the permanent Showering Pavillion offers good value breakfasts, lunches, roasts etc. It's a good show, I don't remember seeing it all in a day...going in and out of lots of vans, new and secondhand. smile

btw.....the Showering Pavilion has nothing to do with getting wet in a cubicle.....

the Showering family were behind the Babycham brand, 'brewed' in Shepton...wink.

After I posted the reply I realised the name might sound unusual! Thanks for adding the extra info BB. laughing

(And there are showers on site too!)

But please behave yourselves in and around Shepton Mallet 'cos the old military prison still  exists even if a bit derelict now.  Young Portillo had a programme about it on telly-box recently  innocent

Forgot to say we paid £54 for the weekend that includes tickets for the dire straits show  on Saturday evening so not sure if cheaper than day tickets thought it was good value for 4 nights includes show entrance each and shows at night ...
