Map our UK Mammals

I don't know whether anyone heard a member of the British Mammal Society speaking on Radio 4 today? The society would like people to report in by sending sightings or photos of mammals they spot locally and when out and about. There is some concern that foxes, for instance, maybe in a decline and this is an opportunity to observe and record what has been seen via a free app.

I haven't noticed a decline in our SW area of foxes or badgers. In fact the foxes seem to have recovered from a severe outbreak of mange not long ago which left them in a sorry state.

Maybe this survey will help a variety of animals that live along side us? smile
