We were surprised to find that a Pheasant had decided to scrape out a nest at the top of our garden, it lays an egg every day and has now laid at least 12 eggs, but neither the hen or the cock bird seem to spend much time keeping the eggs warm only returning to lay another egg. Is this the normal habit of Pheasants?.
