Anyone Grow Clematis ?

Got a garden voucher for a birthday so just purchased two more Clematis . I have 14 different ones now , most are  just coming into flower . My favourite at the moment  in all its splender is  'Warsaw Nike' a deep purple single flower. whats your favourite Clematis ?

Yes, I think mine is a bit temperamental. Just paid for Mums garden to have a big clear up, so looking to put some nice Clematis in for her now, some nice examples to consider on here.๐Ÿ˜

TDA, check out pillu, late spring are doubles, late summer(now) 2nd flush as singles. More bang for your buck๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. Good doers.

I love the Montana range, I have Broughton star around the front entrance. Montana Alba behind the decking. Niobe near the workshop. They just keep giving do Clematis๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

yes I  like Montana's but found them very invasive so had to get rid of mine.

I would give M.Broughton Star a go HH, a lot slower growing. And, only £3.99 a plant at Aldi!๐Ÿ‘

I've 2 Montana, the pink one is just about ready to open up and the white one is usually a week or 2 later its smells lovely just like vanilla. I've 4 other types can't remember all their names but I know one is a Nelly Moser, it was a favourite of Mum and Dad's. 

Just remembered another one is called Blue Moon, its doing very well this year looks like I will get lots of flowers on it.
