Tomatoes

A bit early yet, for me. I normally sow around the start of April.

Not yet as it was only last year we had enough time at home to nurture  anything in the garden,we are normally away for many night per year ,so will see how this year pans out ,and according to some news quarters this lockdown may go on to good friday  if that is the case we may dabble again

Got the seeds but will leave them in their packets. I find when growing them early I tend to get spindly plants. Will wait for more daylight and warmth. 🍅🌞

I 've purchased some Black eyed Suzy seed, anyone know how and when best time to sow them.

Hosta. I suppose you could sow most things now if you've got a warmish spot, sometimes the plant companies do youtube videos and you might find some info. Are they the perennial Rudbeckias, they are quite tough once they get going, we've got a patch. My Dad used to love them as it reminded him of N America but he once grew the wrong ones here, the giant six foot ones! I've got some of those too, we call them Dad's daisies. 

Sometimes the annual Thunbergias get called a similar name.

Second week in Feb for indoor types second week in March outdoor ones

Last year I started from seed on warm windowsill in Jan. They started growing within two weeks. Had a brilliant crop grown outside from may , in tubs. A bit slow this year.
