Meet Ralph!

Well, Ralph has finally arrived with us and, after 18 months of Lady being the only dog in the house she finally has her new companion. He's 18 months old himself and quite a live wire, but he has settled incredibly quickly - slept all through last night without a sound from him until we got up this morning. The two of them have quickly become best mates - though he does tease her by picking up two tennis balls at a time and refusing to drop one for her, no matter how much she pleads! laughing

We're very privileged to have him join us and we're looking forward to some great adventures with him, especially down on the beach in Perranporth. smile

It's not just the female of the species,  that photo was Ralph flashing his bits. But Lady can give as good as she gets!  🐶

Last warm sunny day for a while apparently so I brought Ralph home through the bluebell woods today - don't think they'll be looking so good after next week. As for him, looks like "butter wouldn't melt" doesn't it? laughing

Thanks, David. Yes, he's settled in really well. The only thing is it's a shame he hasn't seen as much of Cornwall yet as we'd have liked! frown

Still, a treat in store! 🐕

Tomorrow it will be a year to the day since Ralph came to join us. It's always tricky bringing a new dog into a house with an established one already there. And the combination of a boisterous young male with an older lady might have beven problematic (that is the dogs I'm talking about obviously! wink) But we needn't have worried because these two have become the best of pals - though Lady obviously is the boss! smile
