Pet food after Brexit

No you are not allowed to take any meat product, inc animal food.

Blimey! Where on earth do you store enough tinned dog food for a whole month?   🐕 🐕

TL must have a big payload allowance!😄

All the information is on our Government and EU websites as is the information about the tax and import duty for caravans.  

When we go for 10 weeks, we take 24 tins and 15kg of biscuits along with 200 flat munchy treats, all in the car of course   Along with the rest of junk on the back seat it takes a couple of weeks for the seats to recover their shape when we return home.

She's not happy with a change of diet so a big rethink will be required, but can't see anything happening until next year now and her welfare will be top of the decision tree.

Seriously, do the animal food suppliers in U.K. not have outlets in the E.U.

Much of what is sold in the UK is manufactured and sold in the EU albeit, under different names.  The pooch just needs foreign language lessons .

We gave our children varied foods from a very young age - never let them get fixated on certain lthings- and adopted the principle of eat it or do without.  Are dogs brought up differently?
