Any Morelo Owners??

We have recently traded our N&B Flair for a Morelo Palace. The Flair is an excellent motorhome and we enjoyed ownership of it, only issue we had was with the dreaded Thetford Oven which has never worked in 2.5 years and numerous attempts to repair. main criteria of new van was nothing from Thetford installed. The reason for change was after a trip to Europe were I did not tow the car behind the motorhome and it was an absolute pleasure, no stress or worries. So on our return I bought the Morelo so I can stick a Smart Car in the back and no longer tow.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else on here who is also a Morelo owner. I know they are not yet that popular in the UK but would be great to discuss the van if anyone does have one.

Stewart, very few N+B owners that i can think of on this forum, let alone Flair owners.....so, having traded up to a Morelo I'd be surprised for you to get many takers.....again, especially the Palace.

youre in pretty exalted territory.....tried any Geman forums....?

AFAIK, there is a section on MHFUN....but not really peeped in there

lovely van, we had a look at it at the uk premier a few NECs ago...

I would love a Morelo Palace probably for many of the reason you chose it.  However, finding the roads and pitches to accommodate such a beast is not going to be easy so I make do with a smaller vehicle.  Good luck and enjoy your camping smile.

I have never had a problem and we tour Europe and the UK quite a bit. The Flair was 9.3m and Morelo is 9.4m so not a huge increase in size. The one thing that does cause issues is height and this will be a problem for most people as the trend seems to be all motorhomes are growing upwards. A good set of extendable pruning shears is always a valuable tool.

The one place size is an issue is with the Caravan and Motorhome Club. The size as you roll up tends to set some Wardens into a complete meltdown. However, I have never not fitted onto a pitch.

Hello Stewart ,I'm the very proud owner of a morelo palace and am sorry its taken so long to cross paths with you .Ours is the 88LBX so just a large garage not enough for a car ,we are only 9m long !

Would love to hear more from a like-minded owner ,we are North East England .

There was one pitched up at CMC Clumber Park in early February. Looked a class act. It's external build quality stood out. I think it towed a Smart car.

As a warden you have access to the arrivals with size of outfits if the member has filled the information in. Managing the site is part of the job so if a 9m Motorhome was coming to our site I’d have a suitable pitch allocated for said unit, of course the member doesn’t have to use that pitch if they would prefer another and could fit with keeping the fire regulations with not damaging the area

At Treamble last year we had a 9m off roader and we only had grass pitches available, it was very wet and soggy so suggested that they park on the dead end roadway blocking the storage yard for the one night and plug into the adjacent grass pitch. The member was well chuffed

wink Hi Stewart. My "Concorde Charisma 2" has the 'Smart' in the garage too.Brilliant to continue touring any locations ,once the motor home is parked up.Not had a problem finding site spaces yet,but a few low tree's do tend to be a nuisance !! Love the space inside ,and the functional layout.Had a look at the 'Morelo' in the factory last year when attending the "Concorde" meet in May.The factory is just down the road .My preference is for the natural veneer's finish ,although the new models ,as with 'Morelo',have gone for lighter reflective materials .Enjoy ,have fun,,,,me too !!cool.

Hi, seriously considering buying a Morelo, classy piece of kit..... how are you finding yours after a decent period of ownership ?, not test driven yet but very much looking forward to it, thinking full air suspension should be good.... any thoughts ?, Thanks
